Kaoruko x Stones Taro New EP 'Y'

東京のクラブシーンで活動するKaorukoと、京都のプロデューサー / DJのStones Taro(NC4K)が、連名シングルリリースを経て、EP 'Y'を2/28にリリースする。

J-POPの感性と現行クラブシーンの最先端が混じり合ったユニークな表現をするシンガーのKaoruko。そのスタイルを作り上げたのはStones Taroの楽曲やプレイと言っても過言ではない。日本各地の様々な人によって作られるダンスフロアの空気感に感化され、このEP 'Y'は完成された。

ミックス・マスタリングには、RIP SLYME、m-flo、TOWA TEI、chelmicoなどの作品を手がけるTadashi Matsudaが参加した。また、シングルリリース群に続き、本作もカバーグラフィックはCYKのKotsuが制作した。

4/26京都 @west haremでは、Kotsu,Chanaz,ntankを招きリリースパーティも開催される。

Kaoruko, an active participant in Tokyo's club scene, and Stones Taro (NC4K), a renowned producer/DJ from Kyoto, are collaborating on the release of their EP 'Y', following the success of their previous joint single, slated for release on February 28th.

Kaoruko, known for her unique blend of J-POP sensibility and cutting-edge club scene influences, has collaborated closely with Stones Taro to craft a mesmerizing musical journey. It's no exaggeration to say that Stones Taro's music and performances have played a crucial role in shaping Kaoruko's distinctive style. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant dance floor atmospheres found across Japan, this EP 'Y' has been brought to completion.

The EP's mixing and mastering were meticulously handled by Tadashi Matsuda, celebrated for his work with artists such as RIP SLYME, m-flo, TOWA TEI, and chelmico. Continuing the artistic direction set by their previous single releases, the cover graphic for 'Y' was expertly designed by CYK's Kotsu.

Additionally, mark your calendars for the EP release party happening on March 2nd at Mitsuki in Tokyo, featuring performances by P-YAN (A.S.F.RECS) and discopants, and on April 26th at West Harem in Kyoto, with special guest appearances by Kotsu, Chanaz, and ntank.
